For an English -Certified instructor, I end up teaching a lot of math. Usually to middle or early high-school kids with some trouble, often in extra-help classes or as a tutor. Maybe the stress of pre-calc or even trying to remember the difference between 2Pi4 vs pir2 helped give me some empathy and compassion. Maybe the problem with most Math books is that they're written by people who are actually good in things like calculus and statistics.
The idea is to have chapters with diagnostic tests, and an Appendix of common traps in the back, where kids could go for help with specific issues.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you'll let me know if I've missed anything, or if anything is unclear.
