Rejected.

This is a poem about a not so great relationship.

Our laughter echoes in my my memory,
Reflected in my eyes.
With the smile your laughter gave me
The happiness all dies.
Good times don't live on.
You say he's all you'll ever need.
My heart felt bitter cold
When you gave it back to me.
Sometimes i pretend
That it is still the same...
...I wouldn't be alone right now,
I wouldn't feel this blame.
Goodbye now to my childhood,
I won't look back again.
While I was with you it was happy
But now you just bring pain.
Goodbye to you who left me.
I'll try accept that you have gone.
Though you'll still find me waiting.
Without you I can't move on.
