An Evolution; Me

I wrote this when I was under lots of stress,but this poem is about empowerment.

Declaring an evolution and a change
Impacts the way you live your life
Standing Ground
Igniting a noble cause
Relinquishing fears
Listening to your heart and your logic

Believing you can accomplish
but what was so simple turns into
a puzzle with a missing piece
a day with out an event
a mirror with no reflection
a time of dreaded emptiness

It’s difficult to stand for yourself
when you know the odds
when you gradually lose faith
times change
are you expected to change too?
Or break under the pressure?

The night’s awakening cry
heals so many suspicions
of captivating mysteries
of endless hours
silver nights embellish the
dark outcast sitting behind the shadows

Are you special because
of your persona
of your beauty
Deliver yourself from a set role
Understand fears. Learn. Grow.
And soon, you will rule the world

And all ugly obstacles
lay beneath you
underneath the superiority
of a deep inspiration
A student and a teacher
A fire starter, a believer and a gift.
