Murderer
You killed my innocence
you mutilated my illusions
of security
forced me into
maturity
that I did not want

You violated my dreams
you make me feel overwhelmingly
powerless
leave me in a whirlwind
of distress
that I must bare

Alone I suffer
a debilitating depression
shame as my hateful
jailor
paralyzing my tongue
into failure
so I can never tell

You murdered my infancy
you shredded my childish
sensibilities
introduced me to terrifying
realities
life is only devastation

I now fear my next breath
I dread to live this life
to remain
in this godless world
of pain
a confusing decision must follow

To me life is now a struggle
death is a peaceful, sweet
oblivion
an escape from this daily hell that
I live in
that has no other escape
