Death fascinates
the mind
No one is
truly sure
What happens
When you take
that final breath
surrounded by the ones
you love
or alone in your sleep
or just alone

Heaven above
greeted by
a chorus of angels
and fluffy white
clouds?

Why does anyone take
risks?
Leaving with a bang
Trying to leave a mark
on this world.

Dead Man's Curve
is drawing clsoer.
Rain thunders upon
my windshield.
Making the road
Slick and dangerous.

Why am I doing this?
To laugh about later?
With my dark shaded
leather jacket wearing
Friends?

Or

Do I want to die?
Use death
like a fire escape
From a life I never wanted.
