Cause even though  you're positive you put in a pair
Seems like you're playing sock solitaire
To your utter despair!
Cause only single socks come out
Even though you know without a doubt
You had put in six pairs or thereabout.

Do you think they go to a far-away land
Where they form a single-sock party band,
Celebrating their escape from human owners
