The dark is always scary because you don't know whats going on, and fear get your heart.
The Dark and Scary Night

The night is cold, wind is blowing. Strange sounds start to seep out of the walls. Tree branches hitting hard against the windows like they're trying to break in. The little boy trembling in fear is scared that the boogey man is gonna get him. He covers his head with his pillow hoping for everything can stop so he can see daylight again. The floor is creaking like someone was walking, and the closet door is being moved by the wind; back and forth, back and forth.
The howl of wolves and coyotes outside are echoing from wall-to-wall in the room. There’s that little boy still, but this time, he got his covers over his head. He thinks his troubles will be over soon but they are just beginning. The moon's dimmed light reflecting a shadow from the tree branches casting a demonic figure near the little boy's bed. The Owl is hooting, the clouds got darker, and next thing you know; the aggresive rain starts to hit the window pane.
The sonic boom flashes, only preparing for the lightning to come and wreak havoc. Right when the little boy was at ease, CRACK, CRACK, BOOM! Lightning came down quicker than an anvil. The little boy jumped and screamed from the top of his lungs, "HELP! HELP! Tears running down his face like Niagara Falls. He lost his balanced and fell out the bed only to bump his soft and tender head. He gets illusional and tries to run for the bedroom door. He's running and running until he realizes that the door gets further away from him. He just lay on the floor in the fetal position shaking and kicking his feet. He hear noises coming from outside his room. Thinking that it might be his mom or dad, he struggled his way across the room to unlock his door. The door opens. The little boy seems to be shocked. A man- looking figure is standing in front of him, but why isn't the boy relieved?
