A poem about my cigarette addiction. |
Burning embers of death and deceit, How they glow, when my lips they meet. Ignited by my desire for slow release, Give off a wispy haze of comfort and peace. Inhale deeply, and enjoy the way it feels, as the vapors consume the life it steals. Coughing with every raspy, drawn breath, addicted to the sweet taste of death. Squeezing out the air that remains, leaving only charred pieces of pain. |
