Before

Decisions, decisions...

Stranded and confused
crossroads never seen before
amid the chaos
feelings never felt before

To turn left or right?
choices never known before
each step that I take
places never been before

People that I meet
faces that I've seen before
places that I go
different than the ones before

As I make my choice
though different from ones before
close my eyes and pray
life proves kinder than before
