Eclipse

A hunter's moon, strung heavens high
lights up the starry evening sky.

Now, while the earth in waiting sleeps
how silently her shadow creeps
across the silvery lunar glow
and hides it in her dark shadow.

Then, quietly she slips away
And moonbeams now come back, to play
their silver light across the land.
