So Surreal

A love poem easy to relate to.

A girl, just barely drifting through,
All alone in a dark world,
Where every day was just
Another day wasted.

Then she met this certain guy
Who turned everything around.
No more suicidal thoughts,
And she was smiling again.

At first she was a little scared,
But then she came to realize
He was everything that she wanted,
Everything that she needed,
Everything she had ever dreamed of.

Caring, funny, and romantic,
He understood her more than any.
When he held her close in his arms,
All her problems fell away,
And the world disappeared around her.
