I penned well after reading Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Nights Dream"~
~‘Pon A Mid-Summer Night's Dream~

~*~
Th' silken, midnight air touch'd my skin;
as a soft, fragrant breeze entwin'd within.
Gentle willows swayed a sweeten'd delight,
as th' sapphire sky danc'd her moonlit plight.
~*~
Astral stars quench'd th' ev'ning's soft raindew;
twinkling amid th' warm, gentle, Zephyrus brew.
Fireflies engag'd their playful, enlighten'd dance;
as th' eventide echo'd her delightful, erotic prance.
~*~
Resplendent sensations sang lovely, spun medleys;
oft' sung romantically 'pon fervent breaths of clarity.
Wood chimes bespoke whimsical orchestras of bells;
whil'st whispering choirs of dulcet, harmonious spells.
~*~
Th' tangerine moon glisten'd a round, orange bizzare;
smiling gleefully, 'mid a starry ev'ning bouquet of stars.
Verdant meadows sang peaceful songs of tranquil regime;
whil'st I rest, lain overt, 'pon a mid-summer night's dream.
