Sweet Dream

a poem about friendship. I wrote this about a year ago.

I had a dream last night
i was sitting on a log
in the middle of a forest
just lookin around
enjoying the sounds & sights
you walked up the path
and sat down beside me
no words were spoken
no questions asked
no answers given
it was a sweet dream

the feelin was just so right
like comin out of a fog
from a deep within rest
a forever friendship found
my heart soars to new heights
don't feel no wrath
only me to be

in your eyes i see light
two hearts beat as one song
your hand in mine as our friendship progressed
our hearts forever bound
all the wrongs in our lives made rights
our shoulders bumping as we walk the swath
you make me feel free
