Your face is gone Faded into the night
I wanted no feeling
Couldn't take this pain
This burning, like fire
Ripping through my veins.
A song, a sad whisper
Is playing in my mind
Taunting, this melody
I'm breaking inside.
Once upon a time
A story of long ago
Your words left me tainted
With a deep, gaping hole.
Shadows are coming
Clouding my sight
Your face is gone
Faded into the night.
I close my eyes
But i can still feel
Your presence with me
These scars just won't heal.
