Jodhpurs Evermore

Have jodhpurs, will ride!

JODHPURS EVERMORE

My first ‘pair of pants’ were diapers
for crawling on the floor,
but I outgrew them for pedal pushers
when traveling to the store.
Then it was a pair of Wranglers
for all my daily chores,
but once I tried on jodhpurs,
I knew I’d be in them evermore.

For I no longer crawl around
on all those hardwood floors
and now I choose to drive a car
when traveling to the store
and I no longer bother
with work, it’s such a bore
but I’ll never give up horses;
I’ll be riding evermore!
