just another of ma poem's |
In this world we destroy a little more each day, Where the darkness we employ create's more shadows in our way, I see man's hope slowly fading threw time, In this place where money making war's are just accepted and fine. Maybe I am wrong, and have a blanket before my eye's, Just cause where I come from, where violence is never a surprise. But my soul say's am right and my heart never lies, It's a saddening truth dark as night, and as bright as a sunny sky. I've been lucky enough to have met friendship tho, And felt the love it bring's that will never go. This is the thing I cling to most, It's a thing you can't win with money and boast. The religion we have made up all by ourselves, Is making people never wake up, and meet no one else. A dreamt up excuse by the seeker's of power, That to me is a no use, let loose beast that kill's by the hour. Who knows where we go when we have our last sleep, The person who say's so, whom we'll never get to meet. Ther's kid's with gun's in their hand's because of story's of the past, Who don't understand why ther fighting and why peace never lasts. So let me say from the gloom, that I hope someday become bright, That it might not be too soon, before corruption and hate kill off the night, Live with a smile instead of a growl, I've done it a while, but am throwing in the towel.
