father harold reynolds was discovered in his church, with his hand on a bloody knife, a dissected corpse next to him. he sported several stab wounds himself. any news as to the whereabouts of the killer will be rewarded with fifteen hundred pounds. - arkham news



on the fifth of june, reynolds and anouther man died. the next year, three men died under simuler curcumstances, on the same day. the next year, everyone at christmas mass was killed, leaving no eye witnessess. the next year, a lead was finally discovered. finally, the murderer would be caught! but, of course, more deaths happened, and the suspect was released. the next century was the same. so was the next. and the next. until finally, in 2004, a great discovery was made. in a garden in old arkham, a fully clothed and unrotted corpse was unearthed next to a machete. it looked to be only a few hours old, but carbon dating showed it was over fifteen hundred years old. how could it be? how could a body, wearing modern clothes, so perfectly preserved, so old, be found in a garden? this was a mystery never to be solved. that night, everyone who had helped dig up the body were murdered, and the body dissapeared...
