Lena falls more and more in love with Blaze.... |
I still wasn't used to waking up like that, but I was pretty sure that I could easily adapt. I had already been in the hospital for 5 days, and Blaze hadn't left my side longer than to shower and change. And even then, he never ever left when I was sleeping. So every morning I would wake up, sneak into the bathroom, quickly brush my hair, and sneak back out. Then I would just sit on the bed, watching him as he slept in the little chair beside my bed. I smiled lightly as he turned and snuggled into the chair, which was WAY to small for him to be sleeping in. I looked towards the door, and when I looked back at him, his molasses brown eyes were staring back into my blues ones. "Hey, gorgeous. How long've you been up?" "Not long." I smiled brightly. "So you go home today?" Blaze asked me softly. I nodded. "It'll be so nice to see Rhysen and Lola again." "Those are you friends, the ones you were telling me about?" "Yeah. We've known each other since kindergarten. They're my very best friends." "Hey, what about me? I feel so unloved." He teased, his brow furrowing as he frowned. I threw my arms around him, laughing. "Oh, Blaze!" I giggled. "What? What's so funny?" He asked softly. I burst out laughing even harder. "You are! You look so dejected! You should see your face!" Tears streamed down my face from laughing so hard. He grinned widely. "I know what else makes you giggle." He murmured, an impish twinkle in his eyes. I put my hands on my hips, and cocked my head slightly sideways. "Oh, yeah? And what might that be?" He pounced, taking the opportunity to tickle me until I fell back on the bed, rolling side to side laughing. "Stop, stop!" I cried helplessly. The only reply I got was a devilish grin, but he didn't stop tickling me. *** She was as tickleish as a baby. And her giggle was just like a baby's, too. She really was just a fairy child, sweet and innocent as a little girl. "She's so beautiful. Cindy was right. It is very hard not to fall for her." I thought. And then a thought came to me. "It's hard not to love her.... Oh my, I think I'm in love with her." I held the thought inside, next to my heart. Maybe someday I'd tell her, but not then. It wasn't the right time. I didn't want to do anything to scare her away. I grinned at her. "Haha, now I know your weakness, my sweet. You're as ticklish as a baby." I chuckled. She smiled as she hugged me again. "No worries. I'll find yours yet." She laughed. I stretched out. "No, you won't. I have none. I'm superman." I teased. That got her laughing again, even harder than before. "I dont think i've ever laughed this hard!" "Good, then, we've set a record!" I exclaimed. I leaned down and kissed her softly, catching her laugh with my lips. Her eyes flew open in surprise, then closed softly as she responded, wrapping her arms around my neck, kissing me back. I let her go, looking down into her eyes. "Sorry, sweet, I couldn't resist." I murmured. She looked up at me in shock. I leaned down and lightly kissed her again. "Come on, Lena, time to get packed up." I turned her towards her stuff. "I'll even help you out." We packed up her clothes, and when I tossed her teddy bear at her, she laughed and smacked me over the head with her pillow. Finally she was all packed up, and I put my arm around her shoulder as we walked to my car. I drove her to her house, then carried her bag to the door. "Well, I guess I'll see you around.." I murmured. "Blaze, wait!" She said. She stood on her tiptoes and gave me a kiss that made my toes curl. Then she smiled shyly and said, "Well, I'll see ya in school Blaze." |
