I look around at the world and what I see makes me hurt
Selfish Acts
Make the world turn
Children starve
While their bellies churn
An escalade
a tanning bed
it doesn’t matter
to the dying and dead
They have mansions
Bought with oil
Disease raids the body
Of those that toil
A Prada bag
Nikes on feet
The need to steal
Ravages the street
Botox and face lifts
Money galore
To support her kids
A mother’s a whore
A swimming pool
A private plane
Heroin in a needle
Punctures the vein
The poor become poorer
The rich become richer
Why can’t society
