As The Tears Fall

A journey through the tears

As the tears fall,
They cover my cheeks,
Saying much more
Than my mouth could speak.
Warmly they cover,
My face no longer numb,
I feel them keep rolling,
One by one.
I don't want them to stop,
I want them to stay,
They comfort me here,
As they cover my face.
As the tears fall,
My mind unwinds,
The thoughts release,
No longer entwined.
The more they fall,
The more free I feel,
The tears are my escape,
Making it real.
The tears begin to stop,
They're going away,
Like everything else,
They couldn't stay.
