Contest Entry Poem using all three promts. |
| Here in your lost city above me I watch lone starving seagull, shadowed in your polar ocean. The wild lights are sleeping and dull. On the boardwalk forty flakes of snow plummet in luminesence; shadowed in your polar ocean. Memory's faith holds your presence. I scream for the empty lost love under all the nameless voices shadowed in your polar ocean. We died for all the absent choices. My ghost-steps crackle as I shove my ghost to yours down the blue pier; shadowed in your polar ocean. ...ghost train whistle only I hear. |
