Buying English language books to read where we could find them. One month to recover From the journey. The street was dusty. Traveling during the summers; Looking out at the Danube and a passenger boat traveling by; A circular staircase, the gift of a birthday cake; An enameled medallion; A ferry ride across the Danube. We leave very early in the morning. By late afternoon, he'll arrive in a coat. He has dark hair. We'll follow him down the hall to his office. He'll talk to us for awhile. Then he'll walk us to the door, and we'll leave. |
