Short Love Poem

A poem I wrote recently that is meant for a special girl.

Without you my world is empty and void
Bearing witness to your happiness fills me with endless joy
Who cares what others think and say
For our unequivocal love is here to stay

So come with me and let’s go for a ride
And soar hand in hand above the sky
We’ll look at the others with a laugh and glare
For none have experienced the omnipotent love we share

And even if fate has it that you won’t give me a chance
Your awe-inspiring beauty will always hold me in a trance
And even upon the date of my death
I will love you still after my last breath
