we've become:
An almanac of unspoken words
That we consult to finish our sentences
And answer our 'what ifs' with 'could haves'
A double-thought dis-noesis
Fact composed of fiction, selfsame-
Irrelavent-
Recorded on disorganized notecards
Stored in a shoe-box under our beds
That children may one day muse-upon
And attempt to reconstruct as events
