The first chapter of not sure yet hope you like it.
2 weeks later…
I hadn’t gotten any new texts from my dead little friend but, I had done a little math and research on him. I found out that he had a twin sister named Susan ( She was now in a psych ward and had demensia). I also found out that Kenneth was fifteen years old when he drown and that four years after his death his younger sister Anna was kidnapped and three years after that his older sister Mary was beaten to death by her deranged boyfriend. Kenneth’s mother had also died, she committed suicide four days after her daughter Mary was found dead. From the way it sounded she just couldn’t take it any longer having lost three of her children within a period of seven years. I don’t blame her if that had been me I would have lost it way before she had. I just couldn’t figure out why someone would pose as a boy who died over 50 years ago. The only conclusions I could draw were either someone was playing a horrible trick on me or this kid was for real ( which I really doubted). So, I focused on the first explanation the only person who I could think of that would do something so cruel was my ex-boyfriend Ian. I had broken It off with him about a month ago and now he hated me. I don’t really no why, at fifteen relationships shouldn’t really matter it should be friendship that does. But, I guess he didn’t see it that way and now he wanted revenge. I thought it was stupid but, now he was devoting his life to making mine living hell. He called me names and tormented me but, I didn’t really care he was a demented spazz. I just hope its him tormenting me not a sixty-nine year old dead guy.
                  ----------------------------------
DINGGGG-DONGGGG. I had decided to go over to Ian’s house to confirm that he was the one who text me the next day. Now standing on his door step I wasn’t so sure if I should have come. I hoped he didn’t think I wanted to get back together but, I had to take a chance. I needed to clear things up with the texts and between us. A stocky woman wearing an apron. She had dark curly hair and deep blue eyes. She was smiling that is until she saw me. Her smile then turned upside down.
“Oh If it isn’t miss too good for my son” Mrs. Davis said after answering the door.“ What do you want? After all the pain you caused my son you still feel your welcome here? Huh? Your just a selfish..” I stopped her there I mean I couldn’t let her go any farther.
“Mrs. Davis may I please speak to your son really quick” From the look on her face Ian must have told her some awful things about me to make her hate me this bad.
“Who do you think you are to have…?”
“Mom… Can I talk to Codi for a minute” Ian appeared just in time to save me. At that second I almost kissed him before falling into his deep blue eyes. But, I was stronger than that I couldn’t fall for him again no matter how much I melt when he smiles. He stepped out and closed the door behind him.
“You must be really desprate to show up at my door without an invitation babe” He said once he was sure we were alone.
“ Please don’t call me babe… I can’t take it right now I just need to talk.” I said as a tear slid down my cheek. I couldn’t help but think about how much I had loved him and how long I’d been under his spell. He pulled me close and look down his nose at me.
“ Are you sure all you wanted to do was talk.” he said leaning forward about to kiss me. I pushed him back and said with a serious stare. “I’m sure. now I need you to tell me the truth.” He nodded then said. “ yeah, sure whatever you want.” I then explained to him about all the texts and about how the boy was born in 1939 and died in 1954. He was astonished in the end and I could tell by the look on his face that he hadn’t been the one texting me. I just stood there looking into his eyes as the memories flooded back. I began to cry, he grabbed me and  held me close to his chest and muttered comforting words in my ear. I didn’t even have the nerve to tell him to back off and to stop lying to everyone and making me the bad guy. I just held him close and let the tears flood out. In the end I asked for his advice.
“ should I call him.”
“ Why? You said you hadn’t gotten any new texts from him.”
“ I know but I need to know the truth”
“ Well if you need to call him, at least let me came with you in case he gets nasty.” I hesitated at his offer and almost said yes but new better.
“ no I have to do this alone thank- you though.” I leaned forward and gave him a quick hug and brushed his cheek with my lips. I held onto his hand for a last second then turn to go.
“ Bye Codi I hope I’ll get to see you again before school starts”
“ Bye.” I muttered I couldn’t turn to him again or I might just give in and I knew I couldn’t fall under his spell again. I then grabbed my skateboard and wheeled my way back home.
When I arrived home my dad was at the door.
“ We were just about to call you.” He said in a surprised tone.“Your mother and I are going out to dinner.” I was a little surprised. But, I some how new this twist of fate was for the better. I mean, I could be alone when I called and no one else would get hurt if anything happened.
“ Oh… what time will you be back?” I said trying to sound sad about them leaving. Because I knew if I rushed they’d grow suspicious.
“ oh… it’s about,” He looked down at his watch quickly then finished. “ 7:00 so I’d say about 9:30- 10:00”
“ That sounds good. where’s mom?” I questioned.
“ she’s____”
“ I’m right here.” My mom said as she stumbled to the door. “Dinners in the oven now be good.” she said then brushed my cheek with her lips leaving a spot of red. “ I love you…” she whispered then walked out the door to the car.
“ I love you too baby girl” my dad said with a quick kiss on the cheek.
“ I love you, bye.” I said then the door closed and I was alone at last.
