Where am I from?
A question both
complicated and easy.
I am from everywhere,
As everywhere is a part of me.

I am from a story,
A novel
That is my own.
Black ink on white paper.
Inerasable black ink
Leaving no regrets.

I am from a song,
Music that flows
Endlessly through my veins.
The lyrics with hidden meaning,
Never the same,
but constantly repeating.

I am from a greater being,
A God never ending,
Infinity.
A perfect truth
That never disappoints.

I am from me,
My thoughts and actions,
A perfect mirror
Covered in a black sheet.
My face hidden behind me,
Shown only to those who can see.
Those who can see
Where I'm from.
