Words.
Like advertisements selling promises.
Only time will decide.

Like band-aids shielding wounds, providing temporary protection.
Only time will heal.

Like makeup masking flaws and imperfections.
Only time will reveal.

Like newlyweds living in momentary bliss.
Only time will endure.

Like a young politician proclaiming hope and change.
Only time will prove.

Unknowingly, unconsciously telling lies.

Only time will tell the truth.
