Something To Believe In

Looking in the mirror fair
My eyes shadowed with ghosts
Many reflections in my tears, I stare
Always the perfected host

Cliché’s abound a plenty
Situations arise are many
To count them one, ten, twenty
Would give me a wealth of penny’s

I pray for guidance and hope
To be forgiven and absolved
Remove the mask and learn to cope
To learn, grow and be evolved

Heaven or Hell would be my choices
To shed this ugly sin
To stop the noise and silence the voices
And give me something to believe in
