Set in World War 2 when soldiers fighting against the germans to recapture a french bay.
Here I stand cowering behind a promontory of rock,

Like playing hide and seek in the back garden,

Except of giggling I'm hearing real guns load and lock,

And the difficult of this game is dramatically seeming to harden,

I am being slowly swallowed by the terrible tongue of truth,

A man murdered my mind resets to obvious surroundings,

Being blatantly beaten we forget about our sentence youth,

I fire my gun and go into the battle drowning,

But this is not my garden and not my pond,

I change my position to reload,

I know now I'm not at home and there is nowhere to abscond,

If this is a game its on the hardest and extreme mode,

But unlike hide and seek I can't stop playing,

I fire my gun each shot as useless as the on before,

I can't help but know in the see my body could be laying,

Luckily that thought soon surrenders to the back of my mind and I shoot some more,

Unlike a game a false move meanders into a fatal mistake,

I have just shot one of my own men,

But like my garden dead bodies to the sea like leaves to a rake,

May his soul rest in peace with a quick amen,

However the shock of what happened is still an intrusion to my mind,

I have to rapidly recover and recompose,

But my body clock has stopped counting and with no one to find,

And with a bullet to the brain my eyes remain to a close,

Unlike a game a false move meanders into a fatal mistake,

Dead bodies to the sea like leaves to a rake.
