This Broken Heart(Acrostic)

Written for the Broken Heart Poetry Contest

Till this day I remember,

How you had used my

Innocent love toward you and

Shredded it to pieces.



Blind in love with you,

Renouncing my self for you, I

Offered you my utmost devotion.

Knowing not the consequences, I

Earnestly loved you and wanted to

Nestle myself in your heart.



How stupid I have been!

Entrusting my heart to you ,

A great blunder, it has been.

Revenge is what I now need,

To recover from my mangled heart.
