It has been years and still I cant find who I am

It's a question that bothers me a lot
I've been living for more than a decade
Still I can't find who I really am
People claim to know me more than I do
But even I don't know who I really am

I look in the mirror and I see a girl
Her eyes full of curiosity and confusion
searching for herself in many different ways

It's a question that needs an answer
I'm a person that many would call as smart
But if I'm so smart why can't I answer
the simplest question there is?
