For the Pond Poetry Contest, nature fully blooms in July. |
| Nature is in full bloom. Trees outweighed with blossoms, of myriad colors. A beauty to behold, and my heart it conquers. Nature is in full bloom. With widespread verdant fields growing ripe, golden crops. The sun shining softly, rays of love, care it drops. Nature is in full bloom. Crystal dew drops on grass, glistening like white pearls when embraced by sunlight. Comeliness it unfurls. Nature is in full bloom. Like a painter dappling in various bold shades, on the canvas of land, which show off their parades. Prompt: July Form: Monchielle A Monchielle poem is made up of four five-line stanzas. The first line of each stanza must be the same in each. The remaining four lines of each stanza must follow an abcb rhyme pattern. Each line should contain ONLY 6 syllables.
