Defiance

Venom drips as the viper speaks.
I can tell you are going to try to push
me off the edge so close but I have had enough.
The flames of resistance are now burning in my heart and soul
telling me to see this through telling me to defy you!

You try to lock me in call me slow call me dumb
well I won't take it anymore I see what I must do.
I have to fight it!

You make fun of me,
shake me, beat me,
slam me, punch me,
and turn my friends
against me.
I will stop it now!

I see the plot.
You can't hide it.
I see your intentions.
You can't deny it.
I won't fall for you trick
and treachery.

You know you have failed I see it in your eyes.
You scream for mercy.
You wimper and cry.
I start to stomp you out like a smoldering ash
but then I stop because I know if I crush your soul
I will be no better than you.
Justice will find you one day but not today
because I have made my point
just because I don't react it doesn't me I can't
it just means I choose not to.
