A poem about Rome.
O great city! How art thou fallen?
Thou wast the center of the world.
Until German power came,
Thou wast the might Empire.
Now thou art just ruins
Of thou former self!
Thou language hast become tainted
By the several people.
They felt thy glory that
Shined from Europe to Africa.
Now thou art history.
