My first attempt at rhyming poetry in over 10 years.
Waves of consciousness crash upon
Shores of a mind whose will has gone.

Awaken thoughts drenched in fog.
Soul knows life is but a prologue.

Warped noise and twisted sheet cloud;
Mind swiftly flees a world too loud.

Motionless body, trembling and pale
Follows the mind with a final exhale.
