| You crept slowly into my life. Like oil on the Ocean. Beautifully irredescent sunlight in a prismatic rainbow effect. A thin viscous film, over every true and good thing. On the still and quiet water, slick on the rocks and calming the ripples. An oddly silent tide of dead fish, and an otter cast up past the water onto the black, grainy sand. A silent cry... caught in a seagulls' throat, and coating my feathers so I can't fly. |
