A house divided.

together in spirit, broken in form,
complete separation, a hatred is born,
what once stood together now stands
apart,
what once was the light, has now become
the dark,
pinned up emotions, crazy with fear,
never a conception that things would be
here,
to love is to suffer, to care is a sorrow,
what saves time today, will kill time
tomorrow,
i say live out the day,
love when you can,
for a house divided
is said not to
stand.
