For the people that love too much, you need to let them go.
"I am sorry, Kendra. I need to do this, for me, us, the life we will someday have together." Santon said as he gazed into those mesmerising black eyes that held him captive. He wrenched his eyes away form hers, but could feel the allure of them, calling him back. He dropped those cold as ice hands he was clutching, willing warmth and understanding into them. As he walked towards that waiting car he said, without a glance back, "I am sorry, Kendra." He never looked back at the girl who stole his heart, again and again.

He stepped into the dank motel room, feeling the February night air trying to seep in and wrap it's icy tenticals around him. He crawled into the damp, questionable bed without a moments hesitation, shoes and all, and fell into a fitful nights dream.

Kendra was in the middle of the lake, still as a tree, leaving no ripples in the glass smooth water. He called to her, remembering that she could never swim, but she didnt seem to hear. He wadded into the water to his knees, then his waist, then to his shoulders. He swam out to her, all the while calling out her bittersweet name. She turned to him, and with a glint of hate and evil, but also living tenderness in her eyes, she pushed his head underwater. He fought with all his might, but soon gave up, letting the cold waves of death wash over him. "I can have you forever, Santon. We will be together forever now." Kendra mumered into the nape of his cold neck. We can be together forever.
