My heart

A dream is just a dream, and can only last as long as you believe it

The light at the end, seems so dull and far
and the pain in my heart, burns deep.

i sigh all day, with no words to express myself
and the pain in my heart grows heavier.

the sun shines, but there is no warmth
the rain falls, and my heart feels soaked with sadness.

when i close my eyes, i see my dream
and my heart starts to beat faster.

I can see it all, the love and warmth
and my heart fills with bliss.

I hug myself and cry in joy
and my heart finally is happy.

But...then I open my eyes...I look around
and realize it is just a dream.
My heartache returns and my heart waits again.
