I saw you in my dream last night,

but then, that's nothing new.

I saw your smile so warm and bright,

it filled my heart with you.



And in my dream, right from the start,

you loved me, I loved you.

And in my dream you gave your heart,

and I gave mine to you.



With loving hearts we lived our days,

we filled our nights with sighs.

And in my dream I saw the way,

the future filled our eyes

                       

And in my dream we stood embraced

And kissed so tenderly

I saw the years our lives encased

There was so much to see



And as we reach the end of dreams

we'll face the setting sun.

We shared a life of love it seems,

a love that made us one.
