Bill and all his component people are in for a rough day!
This is a story about Bill.

At this point, you may be wondering who Bill is. I’m about to tell you.

Bill, unlike most people, wasn’t just made up of one person. Bill was actually made up of twelve different people all at once.

There was Steve, who was pretty much in charge of things. Then there were the first set of triplets; Mike, Dave and John. Coming in next, there were the second set of triplets; George, Tim and Penelope. Next came Big Olga, who was largish, though rather flat and took up the most space.  At the back of Bill, there were the two brothers, Frank and Will and at the front of Bill, there were the two sisters, Agnes and the slightly shorter Jill.

These were the people who made up Bill.

Considering their different backgrounds, it was amazing how everyone got along and managed to make things work. Steve and the six triplets took care of most of the support on the back-end, while Big Olga carried most of the weight. The remaining four held up their end of the bargain, never slacking at their forsworn duty.

Everything went on swimmingly, until that one fateful day, when everything changed...

On this day, which was much like any other day, Bill sat around just waiting for some company. He was lost in his thoughts; that is to say, the thoughts of twelve people, when the doorbell rang. As Bill watched the door open, he thought to himself, “Oh! Great! Here’s company!”

Unfortunately for Bill, he was about to be smashed into pieces.
Literally.

Into the room stepped the largest woman that Bill had ever seen. She was as wide as she was tall. The floor shook with every step that she took. As Bill looked up at her, he started to say hello. But she would never have heard him anyway.

The lady wobbled as she turned around. “Plop!” She went, right down on top of Bill. Bill’s last thought, as he split into Steve, the six triplets, Big Olga, the two sisters and the two brothers was, “Uh-oh.”

You see, Bill was a chair.
