Almost a metaphysical poetry |
| Out she came From the pitless hole Breathing fire and Wrecking soul She caught a mortal Ripped his throat Bled him dry Like a bleating goat She laughed at the fear in his eyes And licked her lips in a greedy sneer She lulled him in with her taming lies And seduced to give in to his fear And then she danced In his mortal pyre Her bosom commanding A reign of fire But all her ugliness Could not hide the smear Of that single roll Of blistering tear And yet she makes the earth go round She bathes the world in a hum profound The angry sprint of a seductress agile A demon in form and angel in smile Who could have thought Such a thing exist Foul and vile In the ugliest mist She tempts even The finest soul To cut out his heart In her feeding bowl And yet the world sings her praise Her charms create a surreal maze He who loathes , falls in her hand Love is her name, as fickle as sand. |
