What would happen if for one day we let a zombie creep into our life |
My temper so cold! My heart so still! I could feel the edges of my patience drill Into the soft tendrils of my human heart, And the pain surges as if rained by dart. And I question myself was it enough? To let the cold calculative patience laugh To believe that the world was a better place, For an icy spectacle of patient race Where is the fire that lit my patience The soft embers of my hearts elations, Where is the innocense that loved to wonder, Those sweet nothings that ceased to ponder Where is the baby's glow that the eyes Where is the 'angel' that would hear my cries. Silence is what met my prayers Silence is what would stop my fears And i would continue my journey like a patient man A zombie amongst the human clan. |
