Somewhere in my soul breathes a spirit
A spirit bound by the word
Bound by the love
Bound by the saving grace
Of God

Somewhere in my soul is peace
Brought through the Gospel
Brought through hope

Somewhere in my soul is contentment
In the blessings he gave me
In the life he gave me

Somewhere in my soul is fellowship
Found in the Church
Found in the uniting Trinity

Somewhere in my soul is forgiveness
Given me through body and blood
Given me through baptism

Somewhere in my soul is my savior
My redeemer
My truest friend
My stongest protection
