Romantic Anguish

Mom told me today,
That I had to see you,

Doing A play,
The thing that I hate,

Does she not see,
It brings back those memories,

Those times that you hugged me,
And told me you care,

Those times that I knew,
You'd always be there,

You broke that to pieces,
In a seconds time,

If you stopped to look back,
You'd be sure to find,

A heart that still loves you,
Even through the pain,

Arms that still wait,
For your lovely embrace,

Now I'm stuck having to see,
All of those memories,

All of the pain,
Never exactly the same,

It still hurts more then you know,
Not that you care..anymore.
