Take it all
Take it away
Take it from me
On this cold day

My heart slows
To a stop
Now I join
Him in peace

Our bodies lay close
In the ground
My hand reaching
For anything around

As winter leaves and spring arrives
Water drips through this box
As if the sky is crying:
Missing my love and I

The seasons change
And my body starts to leave me
First my skin
Then my flesh

Take it all Mother
Take it away
Take it from me
On this cold day
