A poem written for a very special woman in my life. About the first time we met. |
a young man; from a singular raising forced into manhood early in life seeking nothing; he stumbles upon magic in the most unlikely of towns vices aplenty; flood the sombre streets temptation gnawing on his heels mother's comapnion; the source of rage yet hate doesn't consume his soul stumbling along; he has become numb life goes on despite it all yet surprise; comes in the loveliest of forms in a defining time of his life a dark goddess; momentarily catches his eye glistening eyes scour his soul the desire; to meet this beauty overwhelms he seems almost hypnotized fate intervenes; bringing desire to life not that long after eyes contact again; what is this feeling he's shaking in anticipation a smile; as beautiful as it is deadly behind masochistic lips captivating; she has him in a trance he hopes it never ends his soul; she requests in honeyed tones so devilishly cute she is slender fingers; clutching a contract she embodies seduction rare times; a smile plays his lip he knew already his reply what luck; was this he'd found in such dark times stony faces; scatter the halls yet alone they do seem silent sounds; flutter the setting calm and composed was he burning passion; emerges deep inside his mind is made up my love; this old soul, it is yours he declares aloud spider fingers; grip the fell pen he had fallen lovers embrace; the pen and fingers something felt familiar distant pen scratches; it is done the bonding of two souls the room sighs; he grins with blue eyes he knew she was different two souls; meet not by chance in a world such as this he knew; this was sure to be the beginning of the rest of his life |
