A short poem on the Hindu/Buddhist concept of Maya, or illusion. Dactylic Tetrameter.
All of my life has been nothing but trickery,
Nothing but lies and illusions that hinder me.
Somehow this Maya continues controlling me,
Though I know well it is nought but illusory.
