After being physically and sexually abused, the victim refuses to answer to ANY man

I thought you were different
Special, and truthful
Now I know you’re like every other man
Boy, am I a fool.
You all think you are owed something
But I know better than this
I am better on my own
Not being His.
You men all think you own me
And can do absolutely anything
This just simply isn’t true
I’ll fly on my own two wings.
You men all seem to hurt me
No matter what I do
So I’ll strike out first
And hurt you, too.
I answer to no man
In Heaven or on earth
So let me be now
I know my own worth.
