Prayer for Purpose

prayer for God's leading

 
Oh, God, My God, How excellent is Your name in ALL the earth!

Your plan and purpose is high above my imaginings.

I desire to be lead by You. To follow Your will and way.

I cannot see it now. The way is fogged.  Lead me with Your Hand

I beseech You.



My heart is troubled. I don't see beyond leaving

the familiar, though hard path I walk. I don't know if this is a

byway that You desire me to turn onto.



OH, God, my God, I desire to unclench my hands, to release

my grip on the familiar, the known. To reach for Your hand

to be guided by You alone

I praise You for Your faithfulness. You are faithful.



My  tears are fears seeping from my heart.

I am so afraid of the Unknown.

I Trust in You, let me not be ashamed.  Let not mine

enemies triumph over me.  You know my heart.


Oh God, show me Your Will, Your Way.

I Trust that You are not the author of confusion

You will make my way plain.  I wait on You, continuing

as You have lead thus far. One day, one step at a time.
